Please note that the following post is my own unique silly girl opinions, experiences and results.  This may or may not work the same for you.  If you try anything included in this post, you do so at your own risk.

# 1.  Small Dish Drainer

For around $6 or $7, this Dish Drainer is the perfect size for 2 people.  It fits perfectly in the sink for traveling.  Put the stuff off of your counters in it for a no-rattle ride.

# 2.  Dish Drying Mat

For those times when the dish drainer just won’t do it… this dish drying mat gives you more space until you can get the dishes dried.  I put mine on top of the stove for extra space until I can dry and put the dishes away.

Not a great picture but this is where our dish mat hangs when not in use.

# 3.  Silicon Trivet Mats

These silicone trivet mats by Cuisinart are an essential addition to your kitchen. Not only will they protect your countertops from hot pots and pans, they are great on travel days. They grip the counter so most things you put on top won’t slide around. You can also place them between glass items to keep them from clanking or breaking. And if you have a stubborn jar lid…. these are great for a little extra gripping power!  I couldn’t find an exact match, but these silicon trivet mats are a close match.

There are so many uses for these Cuisinart Hot Pads.

#4. Shelf Liner

This is useful for more than just lining the shelves.  Cut squares to put between your ceramic plates and bowls.  (Yes, we have ceramic.  We both hate eating steak or anything you have to cut off plastic.  And hot soup…so much better out of a heavy ceramic or glass bowl.)  And shelf liner is great for wrapping glass bottles in.  Next time you pack up camp for the ride, try putting pieces between any loose rolly polly items to cut down on the rattles and rolls.)  This shelf liner would also be good for lining the refrigerator shelves.

# 5.  Portable RV Surge Protector

This surge protector by Progressive Industries has you covered. They call it a Portable RV Electrical Management System Surge Protector.  And that it is. With its built-in pedestal tester, you can be assured of quality power before you plug in for the stay.  You can check it anytime while set up without unplugging and using a separate pedestal tester.  This is an expensive piece of equipment that is WORTH it.  Just think about how much you paid for your camper…  or the cost of replacing the fridge, the air conditioner, the microwave,  or heaven forbid the TV.   Or the extensive DIY labor and or labor cost of replacing any number of electrical components.  For us… it was a no-brainer.

#6.  Door Mats

We have 2 mats to help keep all the dirt out.  One is a 5’ x 3’ that we put under the steps outside. The other one is a “Clean Machine” that helps to clean the bottom of your shoes off. We keep it between our front seats which is a perfect place to take our shoes off.

There you have it. My list at the moment. What are your favorite gadgets and essentials for your RV? Please tell me by leaving a comment below! And don’t forget to like!
